Our beginning was very modest, we started with 5 students and 1 teacher in 1988. The School was inaugurated by expatriate parents who needed an International setting for their children. The Government of Zanzibar provided the site, which had the office and the nursery block.
We have come a long way now with around 200 students from 36 different countries. We offer the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC), and IGCSE curriculums, Nursery up to IGCSE with a wide range of extracurricular activities, to make sure that our students are challenged as they grow with us and are fully equipped to prepared for life at university.
The site has grown with these developments, with the Library block which was added in 1997 and the secondary block in 2007.
The newly developed multi purpose hall is the latest project and has already been used for many school and community activities ranging from Class Assemblies, Drama performances, sports activities, Craft Fair and the monthly Movie night.
